When you are looking to buy colored contacts outside of the normal colors like green and blue, you will typically not find those uncommon colors anywhere else except for in fantasy and sci-fi type media outlets.
This isn’t the case with pink because it’s actually found in nature in certain situations. Here we will go over a few of them.
Rabbits
The first on our list is the innocent bunny rabbit. Rabbits naturally have pink eyes and are fairly common.
If you are looking to dress up as a rabbit, you could always go the extra step and get some hot pink contact lenses and finish the look off perfectly.
You’ll definitely get some attention in your bunny costume, especially if it’s a sexy bunny costume.
Albinos
Albinism is a hypopigmentary disorder of the genes, which is caused due to lack of melanin pigment. It can also be referred to as achromia or achromatosis. The term ‘albinism’ is taken from the Latin word albus, which means white. About 1 in 70 people carry the recessive gene for albinism. About 1 in every 17,000 people have the albinism disorder. Albinism can occur equally, to both males and females.
Albinos are usually recognized instantly for their extremely light skin, which lacks pigmentation, and their red and pink colored eyes. As you can see in the picture above the iris and pupil are usually tinted red, where the cornea is pinkish. If you are looking to imitate an albino for Halloween having your eyes pink would definitely do the trick.
Pink Eye
We won’t show a picture of this because unless you came here looking for pictures, it just wouldn’t be fair. Pink eye is a medical condition that turns the whites of your eyes pink and is basically an infection that should be treated immediately because untreated can lead to other problems.
It’s also highly contagious. If you do have pink eye you should see a doctor for more information.
